Sateesh Dingankar
TriJaXa is proud to present the Indian Artist and Photographer Sateesh Dingankar. During our continuous exploration of talent worldwide, Sateesh’s exposition ‘Wandering Eye’ was encountered at the world famous Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The works of Sateesh are intriguing, different and have a lasting impression. Meditation in colour and form as you will.
Sateesh is a true artist without pretension and a master in capturing the uniqueness of regular moments, things accidentally stumbled on in one of his journeys or walks. Beauty is all around us and even mundane things deserve a second (or better) look. In the words of Prakash Bal Joshi: ‘it is a practice of finding poetry in surfaces, gestures, and fleeting light… reminding us that the extraordinary is often hidden in plain sight.’
Sateesh describes himself as a wanderer, who seldom has a concrete goal. In this way he is open to any image that his eyes catches and is flexible in his approach.
TriJaXa aims at offering Sateesh a well deserved world wide audience and has acquired three of his works:
- Perception and Reality
- Happy Shadows
- Rusty Fence
Please feel free to inquire about more works of Sateesh and his immaculate wanderings of the eye.
