Saving collections
In 2024 and 2025, TriJaXa repeatedly dedicated itself to finding suitable ‘homes’ for private collections. In 2025, this included a large collection of archaeological and paleontological finds. Some of the archaeological artefacts were incorporated into the collection of the Drents Museum in Assen (the Netherlands) and some were transferred to the Northern Archaeological Depot of the Netherlands.
A unique collection of more then thousand paleontological finds, found a place in the ‘Hunebedcentrum’ in Borger (the Netherlands), which is the location of the UNESCO Global Geopark “De Hondsrug” (https://www.dehondsrug.nl).
Some collection items were not considered of museum value, and therefore efforts were made to give them a place in educational settings.
